Die verspätungen im flugverkehr gehen mir langsam auf die nerven. gestern abend bin sass ich sicher eine Stunde im Flieger, ready for take off, aber keine Starterlaubnis. Da hätte ich vorher nicht zum Gate hetzen müssen (ich wollte unbedingt noch ein De-Bug kaufen, aber so was führt ein grosser Flughafen wie München ja nicht - in der Kleinstadt Chur bekomme ich es am Bahnhof!).
Dieses Jahr werde ich wohl noch mindestens sechs Mal in einen Donnervogel steigen, da kann ich nur hoffen das die Flüge nicht getrichen werden oder ich den Anschluss nicht schaffe (wie vor zwei Wochen in Frankfurt - Foto vom Overnight Kit - mein Gepäck war irgendwo...).

yesterday night we went out to see LLORCA at the room. We were the first people to arrive at about 1.30 a.m., but the club got pretty full by four o'clock. Won't tell you what time I left... Good sound system, people in good mood, strong drinks, I was dancing for about three hours for sure, really enjoyed it. My friend Linus told me, that later on when Llorca stopped D-jaying everybody applauded!

Amazing - the spanish TV channel Localia is starting T/BLOG, an interactive progam with live participation of bloggers. They start tonight, monday october 31st and broadcast every night at 21h. I am really curious what this is all about. The program announcment says:
Un coloquio libre y sin censura entre cuatro tertulianos o bloggers que debatirán temas de actualidad tanto entre ellos como con los espectadores que conecten en directo con el espacio a través de los blogs que los contertulios mantendrán activos durante la emisión. T/BLOG contará con una variada plantilla de bloggers, aunque serán cuatro los que en función de la actualidad y los temas a tratar se sentarán cada día en el plató. it's all about breaking in and breaking out. I was working until late last sunday and at about 11 p.m I was wondering how I would get out of this office building at night. When I finnaly got down to the main entrance at about midnight, the big "portal" was closed. There was nobody around that could have helped me to open the door. I phoned the private security company a few times, but the nice guy on the phone couldn't do anything for me. He proposed to call the police or the fire brigade... Well, I got a bit stressed out and desperate, it was already 1 o'clock in the the morning and I didn't want to spend all night in the office at all. So I had a look at the back side of the building (the window with the air con). Standing out there in the window, I saw two mattresses down in the street. I asked somebody passing by to to me a favor putting the two mattresses on top of each other. Looking down I got a bit scared - I JUMPED - and landed safely on my feet - didn't hurt me anything. WOW - once is enough.

as I got ADSL at home (finally!) I would like to post a few pictures from the setup box I got for TV over ADSL called imagenio. The cool thing is that I don't need this setup box at all because VLC Media Player allows streaming of all TV channels on the computer! But have a look first at the setup box I packed away again (click to enlarge):

To configure the VLC with a list of all the channels download or create a m3u file. The installing procedere is documented here, but in my case I used diferent ip addresses.

Alter Krempel ist einfach ein Hort wunderbarer Erinnerungen. Deshalb fällt es vielen Menschen schwer, sich vom Plunder zu trennen. Der emotionalen Beziehung zu seinem Besitz kann sich kaum jemand entziehen. Schuld daran ist die Evolution, schreibt nun ein deutsches Forscherteam (...). Denn schon zur Zeit der Jäger und Sammler hatten diejenigen Menschen im Tauschgeschäft Vorteile, die glaubhaft machen konnten, dass sie an ihren Dingen hingen. Auch heute erziele auf Flohmärkten of derjenige den Besten Preis für einen Gegenstand, der dem Käufer überzeugend vermitteln kann, wie sehr es ihm schwer fällt, sich von dem alten Stück zu trennen.

cool - eben meinen ersten Beitrag in unserem company weblog verfasst. Schliesslich werde ich in Madrid tagtäglich mit drei Gratis Zeitungen eingedeckt (kurzer Beitrag dazu). Der neue Channel von El Pais EP3 kommt ja sehr aufwändig daher: sehr viel Flash und Hintergrund Musik, da bin ich eher skeptisch!
