Skype
A friend of mine from Austria told me on skype last night, that we both couldn't imagine video calls from home (for free, notabene) when we played together in the sand 33 years ago. That's true. What I didn't expect even less is the following: Tatajuba is a remote fisher village 500km west of Fortaleza (Brasil) and there was no single telefone available when we visited the place 4 years ago. Today ACOMOTA has a skype account and internet access via radio. WOW!
update vom 02.02.07: yesterday I saw an ad in the paper, cheap flight to Fortaleza by Edelweiss Air, thats where I would like to go!
