Just wrote a story on Blogalisierung about travelling von east to west and how happy I was to be back at home. Here you'll find the post, but this time I make it easy and c&p the whole thing in my private blog as well:
Mit Zug und Flugi durch Europa reisen kann ganz schön anstregend sein. Gesten Dienstag zum Beispiel, das war ein Tag bzw. eine (Europa-) Reise, wow! Um 6h in der Früh in Wien West in den Zug gestiegen, EC nach München, nicht viele Leute, angenehm Platz im Speisewagen, leider etwas unbequeme Sessel. In München um 10.30h dann gleich auf die S-Bahn gehetzt, die Stadt ist ja doch etwas grösser als Wien (oder Zürich...). Termine hier, Termine dort. Um 18h verabschiede ich mich von meiner letzten Gesprächspartnerin, hetze wieder auf die S-Bahn, entscheide mich für die S1 (es gibt ja verschiedene Möglichkeiten zum Flughafen rauszufahren). Unterwegs bleibt der Zug einmal länger stehen, zum guten Glück habe ich meine Boarding Karte schon in der Hand (Internet sei Dank).
Die Architektur der neuen Flughäfen beeindruckt mich immer wieder, die langen Fussmärsche weniger. München und und der neue Terminal 4 in Madrid sind sehr, sehr weitläufig. Der T2 in München wurde von 75 Architekten geplant und Richard Rogers hat mit sich dem T4 ein weiteres Denkmal gesetzt.
Im Gegensatz zu den Zügen sind Flugzeuge nie (oder fast nie) pünktlich. Der Abflug in München hat sich also um 40min verzögert. Landung dann um 23h, schnell zum Taxi und ab nach Hause. Endlich. So eine Reise von Ost nach West ist defintiv anstregend, da lobe ich mir eine Zugfahrt von Zürich nach Bern, von mir aus auch am gleichen Tag hin und zurück.

es ist schon 18h vorbei und ich brauch jetzt unbedingt ein verlängertes wochenende. Hab eben hier über die "puente del dos de mayo" geschrieben, wir werden aber bereits Montag wieder nach Madrid zurückkommen.
Eine Sache, die ich mir nächste Woche definitv genauer anschauen werde: EQO hat vor einigen Tagen einen Client für Palm und andere Mobiltelefone gelauncht, sehr cool.

Dieser Aufmacher gefällt mir nun besonders gut, als "Nebenfach Ethnologe" gefällt mir dieser Konzept "wir sehen die Welt durch eine kulturell gefärbte Brille" (oder so ähnlich) sehr gut. Macht euch also auf schonungslose Analysen von Austria, Schweiz und Spanien gefasst.

just got an e-mail from PM (not the famous P.M. that wrote bolo'bolo) telling me that the well known AntiVir is not good for me / not good for protecting my computer. So I installed avast and I have two little blue (turning) balls in my task bar, works fine!
btw: I hate Norton, Symatec and all this CPU and time consuming programs.

Wie bereits hier angekündigt hat der Blick nun auch seine eigenen Blogs. Im Unterschied zu den Sonntagsblick Blogs schreiben mehrere Autoren, ein kollaborativer Ansatz also.

In about two weeks swiss Bloggers are organizing the 1. Swiss Blog Award, looks cool. Check out the concept of the whole thing, the award ceremony will start May 5th at 20h. I am sure that many bloggers using TWODAY will attending the event. CU there!

The trip to Rome was fab! Almost the whole company travelled together (I am not saying togehter in the same plane... there were loads of troubles with Alitalia, on the way there and on the way back). Have a quick look at some MoBlog pics or check out the these or these pictures.

I really liked the new movie directed by Pedro Almodóvar called "VOLVER". I don't know you can see it in your city in Switzerland or Austria or whereever, but in a few weeks...

I am really sorry for not writing every week (never tried to write every day anyway....), but the last few days I was really busy: organizing an event in Madrid, travelling through half of Europe and writing offers for our customers.
Two things:
1) Bloggers met in Stuttgart (Germany) for the EuroBlog, unfortunately I didn't have time to go there at least for one day. Two friends of mine, SMI and Olaf presented the sucess story of Antarctica2005 (PDF 1,3 MB).
2) The sucessfull ReLaunch of our Online Maganzin (sorry, but is only available in german) mindestenshaltbar includes a fancy Podcast Flash Player, so you can listen to the stories either on your computer or on your iPod. Cool.

irgendwo hatte ich das schon einmal installiert, diesen patch von MS für Outlook. Das praktische ist, dass damit automatisch alle Feiertage in den Kalender eingetragen werden. Für Outlook 2000 User gibt es eine einfachere Lösung.
Bei dieser Gelegenheit auch gleich ein paar Gründe, wieso ich nicht Thunderbird und Sunbird verwende: ich brauche ein Programm, ein PIM, das mir seamless alle Adressen, Telefonnummern, Notitzen, Aufgaben, Termine, und, und mit meinem mobilen Device abgleicht. Klar, nicht jede und jeder benötigt all diese Info auf dem Mobiltelefon, aber die Erfahrungen und Geschichten von meinen Freunden zeigen: wenn du ein Handy verlierst bist du EXTREM froh wenn all diese Daten per Knopfdruck auf ein neues Gerät überspielbar sind. MS hin oder her.

tja, es wäre ja zu einfach wenn es auf anhieb klappt, ich hab ja ein vorinstalliertes System, da wird mein Outlook vom patch gar nicht erkannt. Drüber schlafen und dann gibt es sicher ein Lösung...
